Be careful with this place. 9 hard inquiries on my credit score for an overpriced truck when they were the ones that called me in with a fake offer for my used car. Be aware of scammers like this ones that are fishing for unaware customers. As soon as the manager Noticed I wasn't bitting I was pretty much an inconvenience for them. ** UPDATE** Not the “wrong” shop So, I've been a customer for about five years now, and unfortunately, it hasn't been smooth sailing. Had a service issue in 2022 where they didn't tighten the oil lug properly on a routinely service, and I ended up with a messy oil leak after a 2k Miles road trip. Talked to Customer service about it when I got back, but my complaints fell on deaf ears. (They didn’t even care) Last year, got a call from them expressing interest in my car, saying it's a hot seller in my area. Went in, thinking it was a good deal. Spent over three hours waiting for a credit check, only to realize they were pushing for a higher loan, not a fair trade. What's worse? Found out they checked my credit NINE times without even making an offer for an old overpriced 2015 suv. After the Manager Noticed I wasn’t Interested on a +20k loan I was pretty much swiped out of the place. Just sharing my experience to give you a heads up. It's important to know what you might be getting into. Mr. Corry Baum, I rarely left negative reviews because everyone has a bad day. However, you guys had been really special to me, Specially on your response to my Initial review. Attach: a photo on my baby being towed all the way on Minnesota by Ford because your guys here in Santa Monica don’t now how to use a torque ratchet.

I'm in Arizona and moving out of state in 2 weeks. I decided I need a snow-worthy vehicle and found the perfect one at this dealership. Contacted them and confirmed they can do an out-of-state cash purchase and ship the car to me within about a week. Perfect. It's Sunday night before I hear back from someone and salesman Dan tells me they're closing and Monday is his day off, but he'll be in the office anyway and will work up the numbers first thing in the morning and send them to me. Dan doesn't go in on Monday, okay everyone needs a day off, I get it, but he still texts me and says I'll have the numbers later in the day. Tuesday rolls around, still no numbers so I touch base with him and he informed me he's off again. Dan, knowing he had two days off and I'm under time constraints, could've handed me off to a co-worker to assist, but he didn't. So Tuesday afternoon, he says he'll get me the numbers within a couple hours. Tuesday evening, he texts me and says someone named Benny will be calling me to go over numbers so they can get paperwork sent out first thing Wednesday morning. Here it is Wednesday, still no phone call, still no numbers. So I text Dan and politely explain that I'm frustrated and running out of time and need the contract sent immediately. Dan replies and says the car is unavailable until next week, but he has others that would work. 🤬🤬🤬 So I call the sales manager (lo and behold, it's Benny) to find out what's going on, and it turns out one of their employees took the vehicle on vacation and won't be back until next week. I lost three days of car shopping because I thought this was a done deal. Now I have to start from scratch and my options are limited to local vehicles. According to Dan, they haven't sold any cars this month... gee, I wonder why.

Purchased a brand new Lincoln Corsair. Priced fairly based on market value (I did my research). Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I dread going into dealerships due to unfortunate prior experiences. I’d like to thank Santa Monica Ford for not taking advantage of their customers and for delivering high quality service start to finish.

The digital economy is an all-or-nothing proposition. At Santa Monica Ford, it's essentially the latter. The dealership made me a service offer by email and, for the first time ever, it seemed to acknowledge that my Ford is all-electric. I accepted the offer online, booked an appointment online and, when I showed up, the service rep had absolutely nothing in my records that I'd made the appointment, was given a discount, and needed a component checked. It was a good first impression ruined by the lack of system-wide integration. The service took relatively little time, given that a BEV needs no timing, oil changes, or radiator checks. All they had to do was rotate tires, check the level of the brake fluid, and service the tire emergency kit. Yet when I was already back on the road, I realized that the dashboard alert about the emergency kit was still there. No problem, I figured. I'd go home, crack open the manual, and reset it. Nope. Can't be done by me. I have to take it back to the dealer -- the dealer whose invoice stated that the reset had already been done. I long for the day when independent mechanics can work on all-electric cars as easily as they can maintain and repair the ones with internal combustion engines.

I just bought a car last year and I STILL have not received my license plates. I called the dmv for information and they said the dealer still hasn't paid the fees for my plates. This dealer is terrible! I tried countless times to contact them and no answer, no call back. Save your self the headache and stress- don't go there, please! If you're trying to get a new or used car, go somewhere else. I don't recommend this place at all.

This ford dealership thinks it’s ok to mark up a truck with over priced add ons and a 30% dealer adjustment over the MSRP. The end result is a $30k truck for $44k or roughly 47% over what Ford wants you to be paying for it. Don’t waist your time.

I was politely trying to make a deal and understand the price they were offering for a Truck before I drove 2 hours. The internet price ended up being misleading and not reflecting the dealer markup. The sales agent then did not want to bargain and rudely asked why I was even talking to them. No respect for the buyer. Take your service elsewhere.
